As we all know that Software Giant Microsoft has revealed the releasing of Smartphone OS Windows Phone 8, codenamed “Apollo” in Q4 of 2o12 after Windows Phone Tango.

Recently some of the core features of the Windows Phone 8 “Apollo” has been leaked in the Blogsphere.
According to leak Windows Phone 8 “Apollo” will be based on the Windows 8 Kernel , not the Windows CE Kernel as the current version are based on. It doesn’t mean that all the old apps based Windows CE kernel will not work . It will Definitely Work on Windows Phone 8 .
And as the name suggest “Windows Phone 8 ” which is similar to “Windows 8″ name and Kernel both these OS will be much similar with UI , Apps Compatibility , core integrated features , better and larger screen resolutions,better and more Hardware Compatibility (New Hardware) .
The key Feature of Windows Phone 8 :
IE 10 – same as the Windows 8 which uses HTML5 support and latest other WEB Technologies.
Skype Integration: Skype is integrated into the Windows Phone as Facebook and Twitter is Integrated (This integration may be available from Tango OS)
NFC with Wallet: NFC which is the latest radio communicating hardware (touching them together or bringing them into sharing process) which is used for sharing Media Stuffs and paying securely and using for check-ins.
Business Features: Apps like Microsoft Lync is used to keep in touch with Business People .
Sky Drive: Microsoft Sky-drive App will be available on Windows Phone and Windows 8 to store and share Personal , Business Stuffs on the cloud . ( This Feature may also be available from Windows Phone Tango Version)
App to App Communication: The Apps Available on the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 will have communicating each other feature.
Multi-Core Processing: Windows Phone 8 “Apollo” will be supporting Multicore processors (Dual Core , Quad Core,..).
